Moving into the new year, I am determined to do more public art exhibitions. This piece is going on display for the month of February at Parkside Apartments office in Avalon Park. I am excited to show a bit of my art, again. I have a few irons in the fire to be able to do that. I am still creating a LOT of new art. I am enjoying the sketchbook path to creation. It helps me stay focused and continue to be in the right state of mind to come up with a cohesive body of work, or collection, as the case may be. Even so, I am still exploring multiple mixed mediums, and am working on bettering my narratives for illustration.
I am intending to get with other artists this year, too, and see what we can come up with regarding collabs and teaching opportunities. Stay tuned! If you want to check out my process, and history of my art, click this link to my YouTube channel. Thank so much for stopping by!
This piece is currently on display at Parkside Apartments, where it lives in a shared space designed for everyday encounters with art. Shown outside a traditional gallery setting, the work invites casual discovery. You might pass it on the way to your day and find yourself pausing, noticing how light, color, and geometry shift with your mood and angle of view
This painting is part of an ongoing exploration of playful structure, visual rhythm, and the small wonders hidden inside ordinary objects. Sometimes a marble is never just a marble.
